I N S T A L L A T I O N   N O T E S

This Action! 2.5 CD-ROM disc contains two installation programs. 
One creates icons in a Macromedia group window which enable you 
to run Action! 2.5 on the CD-ROM disc.
The other installs the Action! 2.5 software to your hard drive.

TO RUN ACTION! 2.5 ON THE CD
To create icons that run Action! 2.5 on the CD, log on to the root 
directory of your CD-ROM drive and type CDINSTAL at the DOS prompt. 
The program creates a Macromedia group window with icons for Action! 2.5, 
Player, Convert, Notes for Action! 2.5 and Convert, and an on-line
manual for Action! 2.5.

Note that when you run CONVERT from the CD-ROM, you can only convert files 
to the clipboard. If you want to convert to another file format, you must
run CONVERT from the hard drive.

TO INSTALL ACTION! 2.5 TO YOUR HARD DRIVE
To install to the hard drive, you must start Windows and open a Run
dialog box in Program Manager or File Manager.
Run the program, INSTALL, which is in the root directory of the  CD-ROM disc.
